You know Christmas is coming when Santa Claus comes to town. I am very exited for the holidays and the Santa Claus parade this weekend. To get into the holiday spirit I chose 10 things that I would love to wear while watching the parade downtown.

I love this infinity scarf from Ardene because It would keep me warm and cozy while I’m outside watching the parade. Plus it sort of reminds me of Santa’s white trim on his own outfit.

Even if there is no snow on the ground I love to wear boots. I just think they are stylish. These quilted boots from Joe Fresh have rubber on the bottom to keep my toes from getting wet and the side zipper makes them easy to get on and off.

And in my boots would be a pair of fuzzy socks like these ones from The Gap. After the parade these will make nice slippers or bedtime socks.

I prefer to where ear muffs and not hats because most hats don’t cover my ears and that’s what I need hats to do. These ear muffs from Ardene look super furry (faux-fur) and I am guessing that they would be very warm.

I love Canada Goose even when its not really cold. I picked their Kensington Parka as part of my winter gear but when it comes to sitting down for a parade I think I like the shorter Logan Parka.

Pants are sort of a requirement when watching an outdoor parade. Skirts and dresses would be too cold. I love to get coloured pants like this pair from Old Navy because I think they look good on me and skinny pants are my favourite.

Even though nobody will see my t-shirt I think it is nice to were something Chirstmassy to get you into the spirit, the spirit of shopping (from Old Navy).

Of course you need to keep your hands warm and these mittens from Old Navy fold back so I can still instagram when I’m out. I love the colour too. The stripes remind me of Christmas candies.

Floats and bands are great but I’m looking to give Santa my wish list early. The Mail carriers pick them up at the start of the parade. This Wish List pad from Target is perfect in the Christmas colours.

I plan on bring a hot drink (hot chocolate) to warm my insides. Starbucks has all sorts of great insulated holiday mugs out.
