Social Media is such a great tool for sharing, connecting, inspiring and being inspired. We love the community we’ve gathered on our site, Facebook, and Twitter and in the new social arenas. Many women don’t often get the chance to meet up with their comrades from across the country to deepen these virtual relationships with the sweetness of real life moments.
Getting up the courage to travel to a new city, a big city, and put yourself out there, away from the computer, takes heaps of courage but that shouldn’t stop you. We think everyone should have the chance to experience BlogHer if they want and not be held back because they don’t have the funds or the means to get a sponsor.
We’ve been to BlogHer and know the benefits of having one-to-one connections. We want to share that experience with other women, enabling them to make their own alliances. We have four BlogHer full conference tickets and we’re going to give them away to you.

I’m a fairly new blogger and journalist and BlogHer would be a useful tool to further develop my writing/blogging and social media skills and connect/network with other bloggers as well.
I would love to connect with other bloggers, and learn new ways to share our farm story!
I love the friendship, and networking and this year it’s a chance for me to share it with my daughter
I would love to go to first, be able to meet all of the wonderful women that I’ve become friends with online. Second, I’m eager to learn everything I can from the sessions. Third, I think that meeting up with all of the PR peeps would be amazing!! Plus, being in New York City…HELLO!! Who wouldn’t want to be in one the most fabulous cities EVER for a few days!!
Last year was my first BlogHer and many other firsts for me. This year, it will be my second BlogHer but more firsts, like first time to NYC!! Last year, I was nervous so I don’t think I made the connections that I could have. I made some friends, who will now be my roommates in NYC. But I’d love to meet more bloggers. Especially the new bloggers that I’ve started reading.
I also want to take in more of the sessions. I attended sessions but I think I was so caught up in everything, that I could concentrate. This year, since I’m not a newbie, so I feel as if I can REALLY benefit.
But my most favorite part and what I look forward to the most is being in the presence of so many fabulous women. I may have been a scatter brain last year, but I felt empowered to be a better blogger and make goals for myself. It was such an awesome feeling to be involved in something so big and awesome that I can’t pass it up again this year.
Oh my goodness! I am part of two blogging communities where I have “met” some of the most amazing friends. I would love to attend BlogHer and get to meet some of them face-to-face. I want to soak up everything I can about growing my blog/brand and network with some great sponsors for upcoming posts. I’ve also never been to New York, so that’s just one more exciting thing to think about. It would be fantastic!
I need something to make me go. Otherwise, I will just stay home because it’s safer.
Wow! I would love to connect with the bloggers that I’ve followed for years! I’ve been blogging for at least three years now, but I’ve been reading blogs for so much longer! I really admire all the ladies on the web who pour so much love into their blogs. As for what I’d draw in from blogher? I’d definitely draw on connections, how to improve my blog, and ways to blog better, how to increase my influence, and find brands that really speak to what I’m looking to promote on my blog. 🙂

Attending Blogher would be a much needed personal development for me for two reasons. First, I would be stepping well outside of my comfort zone to introduce myself to folks whose words and emotions I have connected with online and will now want to connect with in person. The reason I would like to attend BlogHer is to share ideas, opinions and learnings. I have so much to learn in this wonderful arena that I crave to do it daily. What better way than to be immersed in it with some of the best.
I hope to connect and learn from all the fabulous bloggers that will be there. I also want to soak in the city and take a boat load of photos.
I hope I win! I’m a full time student, breadwinner and mom and I was looking forward to going but the stduent tickets are all sold out now that I have the money! 🙁
