Sharing is Caring!

Social Media is such a great tool for sharing, connecting, inspiring and being inspired. We love the community we’ve gathered on our site, Facebook, and Twitter and in the new social arenas. Many women don’t often get the chance to meet up with their comrades from across the country to deepen these virtual relationships with the sweetness of real life moments.

Getting up the courage to travel to a new city, a big city, and put yourself out there, away from the computer, takes heaps of courage but that shouldn’t stop you. We think everyone should have the chance to experience BlogHer if they want and not be held back because they don’t have the funds or the means to get a sponsor.

We’ve been to BlogHer and know the benefits of having one-to-one connections. We want to share that experience with other women, enabling them to make their own alliances. We have four BlogHer full conference tickets and we’re going to give them away to you.

All we want to know is how will you connect at BlogHer?
Who do you want to meet? What do you hope to draw in and fill your soul with at BlogHer? Just leave a comment below. We’ll accept entries until April 11, 2012.  Since what fills each of us up and makes us happy will vary, each story has merit, we will randomly pick 1 commenter from below.  (One entry / comment per person.)

NOTE!  If you are a member of EverythingMom.com, you will need to login before you can leave a comment.  (We know, this is one of our new site bugs that we are trying to squash and apoligize for the extra step.)

  1. Omg omg omg * jumping up and down and not caring about my jiggly bits, sorry about that*

I am so excited about attending. I can’t wait to see all my friends. And for you I will tweet you daily with a picture and write a post when I return to show you the pictures I’ve captured from a great event.

    Cheers & thank you again.

  2. Im a fairly new to blogging and would love to be able branch out and network with other interesting and brillent ladies as well as learn more about the blogging world and how it can utilized to receive the utmost benefits!

  3. I’m a fairly new blogger and journalist and BlogHer would be a useful tool to further develop my writing/blogging and social media skills and connect/network with other bloggers as well.

  4. I would love to go to first, be able to meet all of the wonderful women that I’ve become friends with online. Second, I’m eager to learn everything I can from the sessions. Third, I think that meeting up with all of the PR peeps would be amazing!! Plus, being in New York City…HELLO!! Who wouldn’t want to be in one the most fabulous cities EVER for a few days!!

  5. Last year was my first BlogHer and many other firsts for me. This year, it will be my second BlogHer but more firsts, like first time to NYC!! Last year, I was nervous so I don’t think I made the connections that I could have. I made some friends, who will now be my roommates in NYC. But I’d love to meet more bloggers. Especially the new bloggers that I’ve started reading.
I also want to take in more of the sessions. I attended sessions but I think I was so caught up in everything, that I could concentrate. This year, since I’m not a newbie, so I feel as if I can REALLY benefit.
But my most favorite part and what I look forward to the most is being in the presence of so many fabulous women. I may have been a scatter brain last year, but I felt empowered to be a better blogger and make goals for myself. It was such an awesome feeling to be involved in something so big and awesome that I can’t pass it up again this year.

  6. Oh my goodness! I am part of two blogging communities where I have “met” some of the most amazing friends. I would love to attend BlogHer and get to meet some of them face-to-face. I want to soak up everything I can about growing my blog/brand and network with some great sponsors for upcoming posts. I’ve also never been to New York, so that’s just one more exciting thing to think about. It would be fantastic!

  7. Wow! I would love to connect with the bloggers that I’ve followed for years! I’ve been blogging for at least three years now, but I’ve been reading blogs for so much longer! I really admire all the ladies on the web who pour so much love into their blogs. As for what I’d draw in from blogher? I’d definitely draw on connections, how to improve my blog, and ways to blog better, how to increase my influence, and find brands that really speak to what I’m looking to promote on my blog. 🙂

  8. Attending Blogher would be a much needed personal development for me for two reasons. First, I would be stepping well outside of my comfort zone to introduce myself to folks whose words and emotions I have connected with online and will now want to connect with in person. The reason I would like to attend BlogHer is to share ideas, opinions and learnings. I have so much to learn in this wonderful arena that I crave to do it daily. What better way than to be immersed in it with some of the best.

  9. I hope to connect and learn from all the fabulous bloggers that will be there. I also want to soak in the city and take a boat load of photos.

  10. I hope I win! I’m a full time student, breadwinner and mom and I was looking forward to going but the stduent tickets are all sold out now that I have the money! 🙁

I’d love to go so that I can network, build my blog, and maybe even learn how to monetize it so I’d be able to spend more time at home with my daughter!

  11. I expect and hope for so many things out of BlogHer12. I am looking for a great introduction to New York it will be my first time!!!! I also look forward to networking with brands and bloggers!

  12. I’d love to connect and reconnect with the fab women that I chat with on a daily basis. Of course I’d also like to take a lot of photos 🙂 Then there’s the whole blogging part. I’ve never really considered myself a blogger but I’m discovering more and more that I actually like writing.

  13. BlogHer ’12 would be a wonderful place to connect with brands that are actually interested in working with bloggers, as well as meeting some of my online friends in real life. As my site continues to grow, it’s always great to learn tips from other bloggers.

  14. It’s going to be my first year! I am DYING of excitement and have no idea what to expect. I will tweet, FB, blog, and party – whatever I have to just to get the full experience. YAAAY!

  15. I’m relatively new to blogging and have been looking at possibly attending BlogHer. I think this would be a great opportunity to meet and network with other bloggers and learn how to grow my blog and in this community!

  16. I love BlogHer because it is a chance to connect with other bloggers both for fun and for learning from each other. It’s so great to meet online friends in real life! It’s also fantastic to connect with brands face-to-face and form relationships for future projects.

  17. I am a blogging newbie and I would love to attend Blogher12. I have been blogging for two months, and I have been learning as I go. By August, I will have 8 months under my belt, and to s of questions that I could get answered at this conference. I have seen Blogher referenced by bloggers I follow. I want to be in the house to ask them questions and get insight in IRL.

  18. Blogher is my chance to learn about myself as a blogger. To meet other bloggers and reconnect with my love of writing and creating new content. Blogher would be a chance to have fun and make new friends and hopefully learn everything I can.

  19. Second attempt – now logged in (I think)
I would love to go to Blogher and meet other lifestyle bloggers. You know those of us who can’t seem to narrow down our topics to any less than a large handful? I’d love to meet someone and pick their brain who has made a go of monetizing such a beast. 🙂

  20. I would love to go to Blogher and meet other lifestyle bloggers. You know those of us who can’t seem to narrow down our topics to any less than a large handful? I’d love to meet someone and pick their brain who has made a go of monetizing such a beast. 🙂

  21. A chance to attend BlogHer this coming August would be energizing, inspiring and a chance to meet, mingle and learn with some of the country’s most successful and fabulous bloggers. I am a writer by profession but am still getting my footing in blogging but see this as my future. There is so much I could learn!

Last Fall, my first exposure to the blogging world was at Blissdom Canada which opened my eyes and inspired my soul. That was the first time I’d been anywhere – by myself, for myself – since 2000 when I was pregnant with my first child. Funny thing is, my final pre-mommy trip was to New York City – 32 weeks pregnant and ready to pop. I loved everything about my first visit to the Big Apple and instantly fell in love with this amazing city. BlogHer is my chance to make a return trip to NYC!

My career and writing has taken a back seat for the past eleven years and I need these chances to get out there in the big girl world. You can help this crazy Gemini Momma break out of Mommy Mode for a few glorious days!

I promise to embrace the opportunity and savour every second. I want to hear the stories and connect with fabulous, intelligent, amazing, inspiring women

  22. My friend went last year and had the time of her life. I too want the experience of a lifetime and want to improve my blogging by making lifelong connections.

  23. I’m just really looking forward to getting out of my comfort zone and actually SPEAKING TO STRANGERS. I’m such an introvert (aren’t most bloggers?) and I get easily intimidated. I may have to hide in the bathroom with The Bloggess.

  24. I am looking forward to connecting with friends I’ve met before, but also to getting to know other bloggers I’ve read but haven’t yet met.

  25. I would love to meet other bloggers and fill my soul with inspiration and draw in electrifying positivity and momentum that comes from interacting with a large group of like-minded women!

  26. I would love to meet some of the bloggers that I follow as well as learn how to improve my blog. Thanks for the opportunity 🙂

  27. I missed out on attending the Blogger11 event in California by meer moments. I decided to follow the feed on line and was totally and completely inspired by what I was seeing. To be able to attend an event of this magnitude outside of Canada while representing EverythingMom would be an honour and I know that I would do it justice. As a parent and businesswoman who strives for greatness in everything that I do, I would love to rub elbows with my peers and those who inspire me everyday.

  28. I’d love to go to BlogHer to be inspired to take on more meaningful projects for myself, and to find others to work with and assign to.

  29. Every year I watch my friends tweet about the great experiences they’re having at blogger. I want two days to focus on writing and learning. I want to meet all the people I’ve grown to love through blogs. I want to know what the cheeseburger party is really all about.
