The kids run through the leaves in the backyard. Everyone sits to a big meal. Yes, Thanksgiving usually results in a big family meal and BestBuy wants to make that meal preparation even easier.

  1. My sister and I take turns hosting at our respective homes. Our Mom has done it for so many years, we think it’s her turn to sit back and enjoy the family while we prepare the meal

  2. Our family is spread between the NWT, southern Alberta and California which results in us having a quiet Thanksgiving for the past two years, each on our own.

  3. My parents usually host Thanksgiving dinner at their home in the countryside. This makes for a really nice retreat for my sister and I who now live in the city. However, my dad recently underwent surgery, so I don’t want to leave the burden on their shoulders this year. I’ll be hosting Thanksgiving dinner at my place, which is 1/3 the size of my parents home, ha! Food prep will certainly be interesting in a kitchen that is more like a hallway than a room, but I’m really excited to give it a shot.

  4. My sister’s husband is the host. He does all the cooking and all the preparations. My sister just sit back and relax till it’s time to eat.

  5. We live very, very far away from all of our family so I host the dinner but it’s just for us and sometimes a few friends if they have no other plans.

  6. I have gone to my dads for the last 10 years. My husband and I have bought our first home and he’s British where they don’t celebrate thanksgiving, however he has decided to embrass our Turkey day and have everyone to our place. Wish me luck!

    • The first Thanksgiving is always fun. I had no idea Thanksgiving wasn’t really celebrated in the UK. I don’t think I could go without my turkey 🙂 Curious to see what your husband thinks when it’s over.
