Sadly, laundry is one of those things that has to get done, and has to be done often.

I remember the day my seven year old came home from school, upset and unwilling to tell me why he had been crying. He eventually hugged me tight and told me that one of his classmates had said something to him – about me.
His classmate said, “Your mom is so fat.”
The holidays are here and that means excited children, tired parents and the occasional linty candy cane. There is so much to do, to wrap, to bake, and never enough time. But the thing I love most about the holidays is the opportunity to get together with the entire family, relax and indulge, all in the name of Santa.
