This is the perfect Valentine’s craft for kids. We all have a ton of old broken crayons laying around and white printer paper. 

So, glue the crayons on the white paper in the shape of a heart. Take a blow dryer and heat up the crayons until they melt into the middle of the heart shape you made.

Once the center is filled you now have a beautiful Valentine’s craft to hang as decoration or give to a friend.

2. Heart-Shaped Pancakes

Heart-shaped pancakes are a fun way to craft with your kids in the kitchen.

Mix up your favorite pancake mix and then take a heart-shaped metal cookie cutter place it on the griddle and pour the batter into the cookie cutter.

Take a pencil and lightly draw the shape of a heart or multiple hearts on your canvas. 

Place red and pink paint on a paper plate. Take your finger and dip in the paint then place your finger on the canvas and follow the heart outlines you drew.

Keep repeating this step until you have completed your heart. You may even want to fill it in with your fingerprints. 

7. Tissue Paper Heart

To make tissue paper hearts, all you need is red and pink tissue paper and a white piece of paper.

On your white piece of paper, draw a good size heart then take the tissue paper and cut it into small squares.

 Grab a pencil and wrap the tissue square around the end. Dab some glue on the tissue paper and then place it on the white paper inside the heart you drew. 

Lift the pencil up and start the process over until you have filled the whole heart. 

Alternate colors or make a pattern. Let your kids decide how they want their tissue paper heart look. This is a classic Valentine’s craft to do with your kids. 

You will love it so much you might want to frame it. 

8. Yarn Hearts

Get crafty with the extra yarn laying around your home. Cut some strips and take some Elmer’s glue and make different size hearts with the glue on your paper. 

Then place the yarn over the glue and then allow the glue to dry. There you have it. Yarn hearts.
