In Barbie™ The Pearl Princess, Barbie stars as Lumina, a cheerful and creative mermaid who always leaves people and places more beautiful than she found them. She can often be found travelling the ocean with her best friend, Kuda, a pink seahorse.
Film Synopsis: Barbie™ stars as Lumina™, a mermaid who dreams of being a princess. Lumina has magical powers that change the colour of pearls and make them dance and glow! Bubbly and creative Lumina finds herself working in a mermaid salon customizing fabulous hairstyles for fellow mer-people. Lumina and her best friend Kuda, a pink seahorse, embark on an adventure to a majestic mer-kingdom. There, she uses her powers to help her friends prepare for the Royal Ball. Premiere Barbie™ The Pearl Princess screenings will be taking place across Canada on March 8th at theatres in Toronto, Mississauga, Scarborough, Hamilton, Halifax, Langley, Calgary and Edmonton.
