We grab a sheet and project the movie onto it and watch them.  They also love to gather around the fire pit and roast marshmallows and tell stories.  Some of our best memories are in the backyard together as a family. 

Cook/bake

Do you have kids that are always asking to visit grandma and grandpa or visit old friends? Well, spring break is the perfect time to visit friends and family.  We usually either meet them somewhere, or we drive or fly to see them.  It is always fun getting together with friends and family.

Sometimes it is too cold to be in the water outside, so go visit an indoor water park.  These are usually heated and have plenty of slides and other entertainment activities. 

Camping trip

One of our kids’ favorite things to do is to point to close their eyes and point to someplace on the map and pick a spot that is near there to go visit.  We have found so many unique and fun towns by doing this. 

Day Adventure

The possibilities are endless for fun simple day adventures during spring break with your kids.  Try looking for a nearby local museum, farmers market, or even a nearby farm or field for picking fresh fruit or vegetables.   

Craft day

Bring the fun to your own home and let your kids enjoy a day of crafting. These days kids love making slime and can be entertained for hours playing with it.  If you aren’t a slime fan simple crafts like making paper airplanes and painting rocks are also fun for kids. 

Play Board Games

Kids are constantly begging to play board games, so have an electronic-free day and spend the day playing board games.  Some fun games are Monopoly, Yahtzee, Scattergories, Apples to Apples, and more. 

Visit a Children’s Museum

 A Children’s Museum provides hours of indoor fun for kids of all ages. Many museums change out their stations and themes and have different events throughout the day.  Be sure to grab a schedule on your way in so you don’t miss out on the fun activities that are there!
