Riddle Me This: What’s Puzzling Your Brain?

Riddles and other solve-the-puzzle games are not only fantastic brain teasers for kids, but they are also fun for the whole family! Short riddles, riddles that are funny, hard riddles, fun riddles, math riddles… they are pretty much endless. Consider giving your family members one challenging riddle to solve at the start of every day: it could be posted on a kitchen whiteboard and discussed over breakfast and morning coffee (this is a much better alternative to morning television, anyway). Perhaps if your children cannot come up with the correct answer to the riddle right away, you can encourage them to think about it during the school day and come home in the afternoon with the answer. (No googling allowed) Great riddles for kids are ones that challenge your kids, after all!

Solving riddles and puzzles is a favorite challenge for most kids and, in turn, they love to share riddles with others to solve, too. Remember: riddles for kids are for all ages. Encourage your children to create riddles or puzzles of their own and challenge you or other family members, friends, and neighbors.

To get your challenge for daily riddles for kids started we have compiled a wide variety of these fun and funny brain teasers, with some that are fairly easy and suited for younger kids, as well as some that are tricky and will stump even adults.
