How do you become an Omni Select Guest?
Becoming an Omni Select Guest is easy. The Omni Select Guest is the Omni Hotel Loyalty program and it is absolutely free.
After my involvement with American Express as a Cardmember as an Amex Ambassador, I find my customer experience expectations are pretty high yet Omni Amelia Island Plantation delivered. Part of that experience was a result of their Omni Select Guest program.
How Omni Select Guest Loyalty Program Works
Like other hotel loyalty programs you can earn your way to free room upgrades and free nights, but I love the perks members could enjoy right away like free WiFi and evening turndown service as well as the beverage benefit.
Never underestimate the benefits of having your room ready and bottled spring water waiting for you when you return. You also have access to a Loyalty Ambassador prior to your visit to help customize your stay (like have extra towels in your room) and can earn Local Experience perks, such as an afternoon of high tea or a brewery tour.
Morning Beverage Service
Of course, the perk that won me over has to be the morning beverage delivery service. Each night you place a card on your door indicating the beverage you would like to receive the next day, from coffee and tea to hot chocolate or juice it is included with the Omni Select Guest. On the card, you specify the time you want your beverage to arriveas well if you want them to deliver it into your room or just knock and leave it outside your door.
This service became my new wake-up call. Hearing the lovely attendant knock on the door and call our “Omni Select Guest” had the ability to put a smile on my face. There waiting outside my door was a neatly presented tray with everything I had ordered. As we were staying at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation, two small honey cakes using the honey harvested on-site (something I’ll share more about in my review of the resort) were also included with our beverages.
I loved sitting in my pajamas on our balcony enjoying my beverage. The kids were still asleep in the room and I listened to the sound of the waves and watched the rising sun. Signing up for Omni’s Select Guest loyalty program is worth it alone for this little perk. It’s not a big thing but it set the tone for my whole morning.

Perks like this and the amazing service we experienced during our stay at Omni Amelia Island Plantation has won me over as an Omni Hotel and resort guest.
It should be noted that the folks at Omni Amelia Island Plantation extended to me Select Guest perks during our visit but I was so impressed I signed up of my own accord to benefit from these on my next trip.
