Let’s be honest kids grow so stinking fast! Sometimes it even feels like the clothes you just bought your kids they are already growing out of. As a mom, it is hard to just get rid of them by throwing them away or donating them, but good news there is a better option these days, and that is selling them at consignment stores.

Consignment stores can be found around most towns, but with our lives now everyone loves to do things online, thankfully consignment stores have online options too. At these stores you not only can sell back your old clothes but you can find cute children’s outfits as well for really inexpensive. So where are the best Children’s consignment stores to shop online? We are sharing our 8 favorites!

Online Consignment Stores for kids

Facebook Marketplace / Garage Sale Sites

Technically FB Marketplace and garage sale sites are not consignment stores, but we had to mention it because we love it! There we have found so many great deals to buy gently used clothes in bulk and if you live near a nicer area and target your purchases there you can end up with some high-quality items for really inexpensive.

The great thing about FB Marketplace too is when your kids grow out of them, you list them for sale and recoup some of the costs! It’s a brilliant strategy for buying kids clothes.

Kidizen

kidizen

Kidizen is another great option. Here you set up your own shop to sell clothes where they give you all kinds of tips to help your clothes sell quickly including listing tips and how to write a great description. Of course, if you don’t have time to list them you can have a personal seller, called a style scout do all the work for you, but you still get paid.

When you buy from Kidizen, their site is incredibly user-friendly, breaking down items by price and size.

Within Kidizen, they also have created a community of parents to connect with one another.

Bagsy

Bagsy

Bagsy is the place if you love fancy! They are known for their Sunday outfits. Even at consignment prices, they are still on the higher end. Thankfully the clothes are in fantastic condition and super high-end. I love Bagsy because you can find good sales running on their site fairly often.

To sell with Bagsy, you request a bag that is shipped to you and you fill it and send it back. For the items, they choose not to sell or the items that don’t sell, you can choose to pay for them to be returned to you, or you can donate them to a charity.

Berri Kids Boutique

Berri Kids Boutique

Berri Kids Boutique is known for affordable name brand kids clothes. They carry good quality gently used clothes at prices that make moms and dads everywhere smile. Here you can shop by category to make it easy and convenient to find exactly what you are looking for. RedTri named Berri Kids Boutique the best online kids consignment store.

Currently, they only offer online buying options not selling options.

Sweet Pea and Teddy

Sweet Pea and Teddy

Sweet Pea and Teddy add new inventory every single day to the online shop so that you can search and find what you are looking for. One the site, you can shop by category such as “holiday shop” or size to help you narrow down your search. It is a fun place to bargain shop for moms while they are waiting in the school pickup line waiting for their kids.

Poshmark

Poshmark

Who hasn’t shopped at Poshmark yet for themselves, right?! Well, did you know that you can shop at Poshmark for your kids too?

Poshmark is actually the first online consignment store so they know what they are doing and have a great system in place.

On Poshmark, you can buy and sell, making it super convenient and a one-stop store.

Children’s Orchard

Children’s Orchard

Children’s Orchard is both an online and an in-person consignment store. All sales are done in the brick and mortar stores. They recommend washing the clothes and making them look fresh to get the best opportunity to sell them.

Next, you take your items to the store where they are sorted and then you are given cash on the spot or a store credit (in a higher amount).

On their website, they even give you the brands that they like to buy as well to help you know what to take in to try and sell.

The online shopping option is a little bit different than most consignment stores that you will find online. Here you will shop by the individual store since all the stores an independently owned and operated, but it is still a good option for buying used kids’ clothes online at good prices.

Shop Tomorrows

Shop Tomorrows

Shop Tomorrows does not actually use money when buying from sellers. Here on Shop Tomorrows you buy tokens to make your purchases. (1 token is equal to $1.00)

As a seller, you first by posting pictures of your looks. Here you will set your token price and then you start selling. You know someone is interested by receiving a message in your email that some has bought something or has a question for you. After someone buys the item you give them the goods or ship them to them (buyers pay to ship). You then use your tokens earned to buy more clothes.

As a buyer, you watch the feed to find things you love. You can shop by brand, size, or even zip code. Once you find your favorite “closets” they call them, you can follow them to see what stuff they add! Buy what you love or message the seller with questions. Checkout is easy by using your tokens you have previously purchased. The one downside of Shop Tomorrow is they do charge you a $4.99 service fee per transaction which can get pricy if you buy from multiple places at multiple times. Add shipping on top of that cost, and you might spend more than you want on your gently used clothes.
