Soft and plump, I’ll be right here. Throughout your dreams, you’ll keep me near. I’ll keep you comfy all through the night, and you’ll leave me here in the morning light.

Pillow

People climb me, cut me and burn me, they show me no respect! My rings are not of gold, but they do tell my age?

Tree

I’m never wicked, but I do have a wick.
I come in all sizes, from skinny to thick.

Candle

From this pot,
the adults can drink a lot.

Coffee pot

I may have eyes but I really can’t see.
People love to make fries out of me.

Potato

I’m a bird but I can’t fly?

Penguin

When looking for buried gold
This item helps a lot
As on this piece of paper
Is where X marks the spot

Treasure Map

Most every day, you step on me.
All I require is a bend of your knee.

Stairs

Round and round, that’s the only way for me! I take with me all your laundry. No need to fret, they’re safe with me. I just want to keep them clean.

Washing machine

For the movie, you shall pop some corn.
When it’s ready the buzzer will warn.

Microwave

A story, they say, can take you away,
But a book still needs a place to stay.

Bookshelf

Flat, black, and seemingly boring, I sit in the living room all day. Not until you turn me on do colors flash on my display.

TV

Now you’re getting close to land
You need your pirate ship to stop
So you’ll take down all your sails
And this object in the water you’ll drop

Anchor

I have drawers and also a nice flat top.
For homework I’m helpful — Keep working. Don’t stop!

Desk

I don’t go out and play, I just stay home all day, I’m nice – you might agree, but mostly your feet just rub me?

Door-Mat

From dirt, to paint, and everything in between, I’m your number on companion in keeping clean.

Soap

From my reflection,
you will see your complexion.

Mirror

Oscar thinks it’s really neat, but ask another and they will say,
“it really stinks and should be left on the street.”

Garbage can

Flour and sugar and coffee and tea,
I keep these handy but hard to see.

Kitchen canisters

Hop on, let’s go, don’t make me beg. My wheels are fast, but use your legs Hop on, let’s go, don’t make me beg. My wheels are fast, but use your legs!

Bike

If you think there is an echo
A second voice that can be heard
It’s not a person causing this
But actually this bird

Parrot

What has a ring, but no finger?

Telephone

Open me up and take a peek,
inside you will find a frozen treat.

Freezer

Hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken, and more.
On here you’ll find plenty of food galore.

Grill

Standing quietly against a wall, you rarely notice me though I’m tall. Inside, I keep a lot of treats. Open my door and then you’ll see!

Refrigerator

My words number quite many (like pen, pent, and penny); my title you will discover, is explained under my cover?

Dictionary

Open me to use me, close me when you’re through.
Look in your room for the next clue.

Laptop

I may be black, and may be white, or any color in between. I’m small and made of plastic, not round but very light; when I’m moved up and down, I’m used to create sound?

Guitar Pick

A full one puts a smile on your face. You keep on going like it’s a race. But as my contents start to diminish, you’ll start to think if you’re ready to finish. What am I?

Plate

Keep me open, keep me closed. There’s really nothing I oppose. But when it rains, or when it’s cold, to keep me shut is what you’re told.

Windows

Fluttering, flying and flitting so free, from flower to flower is where you’ll find me?

Butterfly

Feeling cold? Then don’t forget me! Throw me on before you go. I’m nothing special, everyone has me. People wear me when the temperature’s low.

Jacket

I’m almost like your favorite chair, but my seat’s a little bare. There’s not much there, I will admit. But I’ll keep it clean when you’ve had too much to eat.

Toilet

On, off, that’s all I do. But my purpose does more for you! Turn me on when it’s dark at night. My brightness beats out candlelight.

Lamp

You use me after playing in the dirt.
If I get in your eyes it might hurt.

Shampoo

I’m so simple that I only point; yet I guide people all over the world?

Compass

I’m an insect, and the first half of my name reveals another insect; also some famous group of musicians had a similar name?

Beetle

I nourish my body by eating grass,
I can run with electric, but I prefer gas.

Lawnmower

I have four legs, but I don’t have feet.
I come in handy when it’s time to eat.

It’s been a long day, it’s time to rest. You can lie down on my chest. Soft yet sturdy, I’ll cradle you. And in the morning, feel life anew.
