Freybe Turkey and Chicken Sausages
Roasted yams and taters
I love Freybe's Turkey and Chicken Sausages. We just popped them in a pan in a 350 F oven with a little bit of water on the bottom of the pan and baked them until they were heated through and browned. In the rack underneath, I made the roasted yams and taters. My recipe does say the yams and taters need a 425 F oven, but they will still work at 350 F. It just took a little longer, and I turned the oven up to crisp them up for the last few minutes. We had steamed peas with this, but sub in your favorite veggie.
Cheap to make and tasty to eat, this soup tastes wonderful with some fresh thyme from the herb garden. Busy Mom tip: Freeze the leftover biscuits and the soup in single sized servings, all ready to pull out and tuck in a lunch box.
This is Jake's all time favorite beef recipe. Tossed in a slow cooker, this one is so easy to prepare! If you don't have a slow cooker, don't despair-there's also oven instructions. I love it on a crisp fall day, and leftovers make really delicious lunches.

Don't put that BBQ away just yet! I make these in the oven, but I can imagine that on the grill they would be heavenly. A bit spicy, sorta sweet, they are really delicious. Busy Mom tip: When you get home from shopping, pop the chicken in the marinade right away, so that you can have it ready to go the next day. I don't recommend freezing the chicken in the marinade.
I love this recipe because it's so much easier than regular lasagna, and who can resist a cheesy pasta dish? You can buy your garlic bread if you wish, I tend to make my own. I DO buy a Caesar salad kit, just to make life a little easier.
