One of the not-to-miss experiences of the new Disney Dream Cruise Ship is the AquaDuck, the first at sea “water coaster”.
Guests 48” and taller can hop on a journey that takes them up, down, around and even off the ship through a swing-out loop over the sea.
For me, the most incredible part of riding the 765 foot AquaDuck was the breathtaking views. I was fortunate to ride while we were docked at Castaway Cay in the Bahamas, so I was able to take in the entire island surrounded by that glorious turquoise sea. The AquaDuck journey also offers cool views of the ship below. My daughter thought is was pretty cool she could wave to me from the pool as I jetted by.
I love how the ride has exciting drops (4 decks!) balanced with relaxing floats. As you can see in my video, I loved the “lazy river” as I could really breathe in views.
Come along with me for a virtual ride on the AquaDuck … let’s go!
