Across the courtyard from the Disneyland park you’ll find Disney’s California Adventure Park, created on the original front parking lot to Disneyland.

This park has something for everyone. On Paradise Pier you can ride sky high on California Screamin’ (named this for a good reason). With a track length of over a mile, heights of 120 feet, a loop-the-loop, sharp turns and a drop at 55mph, you will remember this ride. For real roller coaster fans this is a must do!

For those whose thrill level rests at a slower pace, you can still fly high with Mickey’s Fun Wheel. At the top you are 150 ft in the air – you can see everything. For the kids be sure to check out Toy Story Mania. A 4D attraction that takes you through a Midway into such game areas as Andy’s Room and the Green Army Men Shoot Camp. Keep shootin’ at the targets, you never know what will happen.

The newest attraction is World of Color. After dark on a wall of water, light, fire and colour bring facets of Disney to life. Scenes from both past and recent movies dance in front of your eyes. The emotion that is created is unbelievably strong – just wait until you see Wall-E and Eva in space. The scene from Dumbo will move you to tears. Once again Disney has raised the bar. You can get a Fast Pass for this first thing in the morning. Bring that back at the designated time and a cast member will show you to the section indicated on the pass.

Similar to Fantasmic, you can purchase a World of Color Picnic with reserved viewing and a selection of 7 different picnic meals (including peanut butter & jelly). The package can be purchased up to 30 days prior to the show and the food will be ready 1 hour before showtime.
