If you have a child under the age of 3, now might be the perfect time to plan a trip to Disney World. You might be thinking it’s not very cost effective to take your kids to Disney when they are so young but when you see all the FREE benefits to making the trip with kids under 3 you might change your mind:

  • Kids Stay Free. There’s no added cost if your child is staying in your room with you. Disney_World_Free_kidsPlus many of the on-site resorts offer free pack-n-play cribs for small children to sleep in.
  • Kids Eat Free. When using the Disney Dining Plan, young kids are covered under the cost of your meal, meaning they eat for free. This of course is based on them eating off your plate versus actually ordering them a meal. But there are many dining options that offer buffet style eating which means you can fix a small plate for your child too. And most restaurants we’ve attended have no problem providing you with an extra plate for your little one.
  • Kids Fly Free. Most airlines classify children two and under as an infant which means you can fly with them sitting in your lap. This saves you buying an additional plane ticket.
  • Kids Ride Free. When accompanied by an adult, kids under 3 can enter any of the Disney World theme parks for free, including the two water parks. This also means they can enjoy many of the park rides and shows for free (assuming they meet any allocated height restrictions).

So why wait until your kids are older to share the experience and excitement of Disney. Visiting when they’re two and under costs you nothing extra (excluding souvenirs and all those wonderful Disney items they’ll want to have) and the memories will be priceless.
