I’ve really been getting into doing my makeup, however it can be really difficult to find good brushes that aren’t really pricey. Like $300 pricey. Wet n Wild, a beauty brand that is completely cruelty-free, has come out with some new makeup brushes and I thought I’d try them out.

Inexpensive, High-Quality Makeup Brushes

The brushes certainly fall into my budget, selling from $0.99 to $2.99 each, and you can find them at Walmart and Rexall (as well as Walgreens, RITE AID and CVS in the States).

Don’t let the price or the fact that they are available at the drugstore stop you for picking these up. Never have I had a better experience with drugstore brushes, especially at this price!

I tried both the Powder brush ($2.99), a staple for any home makeup set, and the more specialized Contour Brush ($0.99).

First off, when I received these brushes there was no bristle fallout, even after pulling on the bristles. I find that most of my drugstore brushes in my collection usually have fallout. The Wet n Wild brushes are also very light, feeling almost hollow, and the bristles on the brush are very soft and light.

The brush handle has an indent where you can put your finger to steady your brush and ease your comfort. Like Wet n Wild cosmetics, their brushes are cruelty-free, gluten-free, and vegan.

Bye for now,
