We’re cracked. We’re not the perfect shape. Nor colour. In fact, we’re not perfect in any way at all. So why do we all try to pretend to be? Or why do we load up on layers in hopes of covering our cracks? Can’t we see we’re just cluttering up the essence of who we really are?
We try to be & do Everything – perfectly. Like many mothers, and business owners,we quickly rush to hide any slight imperfections with fluff. We quickly toss everything into our “messy rooms” before the guests come over, because who wants anyone to see that?
But we all have Messy Rooms.
We’ve taken the past few months to clean out our the clutter in our Messy Room. EverythingMom Media has grown substantially over the years in our pledge to truly become Everything to both our community and our media partners. This passion lured us into projects that we thought would fulfill every need. But it turned out to add more clutter to an already packed space.
We are removing the pressure to Be Everything to Everyone. Both for ourselves, and for YOU.
Mothers are bombarded with messages everywhere on how they should be and what they should do. We want you to feel happy with who you are and how you’re raising your families without fear, doubt, and discouragement. We don’t want you to feel you have to do or be anything different than what works for you. We are giving up the perception that we need to be the perfect shape, colour that conforms to one-size-fits-all. We are all flawed, with some cracks. But we are still beautiful, all of us.

We’re no longer filling cracks with clutter.
No longer will we try to fill these cracks with fluff just to cover up the appearance of flaws. In fact, you might say we are shining the light on our cracks to help everyone not only feel comfortable with our flaws, but even to (gasp) embrace them because they are what make each of us fantasitically beautiful.
