Happy Thanksgiving! Beyond the turkey and the pie, thanksgiving is about being thankful.
Take a moment to think about the people in your life, the ones who make you happy, the ones who challenge you to follow a dream, the ones who love you no matter what you do or say. Whether you’re life has you at the top of the mountain, on a high of everything going your way, or down in a valley, feeling as though things couldn’t get worse, it is the people in our lives that make the adventure worth taking.
We’re thankful for our family and friends that celebrate us.
Sometimes we wish things had gone a different way in our life, that we had more or better or bigger things. The line between wants and needs can sometimes get blurred. Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on what we have and how fortunate we are. Instead of wishing you could send to kids to a private school, be thankful they can go to school. Instead of wishing you lived in a bigger house, be thankful you have a place to call home. Life may not be perfect, the way you dreamed, but it is your life, your path.
We’re thankful for the basic necessities in our life and remember those who aren’t as fortunate.
Friends, family, and the things in our lives are important but we are also thankful for you. We love the way you inspire us, encourage us, and cheer us on. You are amazing and you should remember that too.
