As parents we all think our children are beautiful. They each display an outer beauty only exemplified by their inner spunk. Well your child’s ability to light up a room and put a smile on the faces of others might just earn them a finalist spot during the Gap Sixth Annual North American Casting Call contest.

From April 2 to 22, 2012, parents are invited to upload up to five photos of their baby (ages four and under) or kid (ages five to 12) as well as answer a brief questionnaire on how their child brightens the world around them. Photo submissions are being accepted on their site gap.com/castingcall, The Gap’s Facebook page, or through the Gap Casting Call app (available for iPhone and Android).

A panel of Gap judges will select 20 finalists – 10 babies/toddlers (five girls and 5 boys for babyGap and 10 kids (five girls and five boys) for GapKids – who will be flown to either California or New York City for an official photo shoot. Each finalist will also receive a $500 Gap GiftCard.

Then the voting begins. From May 21 to 25, 2012 the public will be invited to vote from all the 20 finalists, selecting one boy and one girl in each category (for a total of four winners).

The winners will be announced around July 30, 2012 and will be featured in a Gap marketing campaign. Each winner will also receive a $1000 Gap GiftCard as well as a $10,000 grant in their name from Gap to Communities in School. Visit www.communitiesinschools.org for more information on this non-profit organization.

So capture those crazy antics and those heart warming moments and send them in.
