Starbucks Canada understands this ritual of many coffee drinkers. They know you love coffee just as much as they do and that’s why they’re looking for your help.
A tradition reserved for the company’s coffee masters, Starbucks is asking Canadian coffee drinkers to re-name their Veranda Blend with the Starbucks Name Your Blend Contest. Starbucks® Blonde Roast is an easy drinking coffee with a subtle, mellow flavour that is perfectly suited to the Canadian palette; specially crafted to compliment milk, sugar and flavours.
From January 28 through to February 10, 2013, Canadians are invited to visit www.starbucks.ca/Blonde to submit their name suggestions for Starbucks Blonde Roast Veranda Blend. Three finalists will be selected by Starbucks Canada and a grand prize winner will be determined by public vote beginning on February 18, 2013.
Not only will you have the knowledge that fellow coffee drinkers are wrapping their hands around a steaming cup of coffee with your creative name, but as the winner you will be awarded a trip for two to meet a friend(s) for coffee at a Starbucks location anywhere in Canada as well as a $500 CAD Starbucks eGift card and $400 spending money. The runners-up will each receive coffee for a year in the form of a $1,000 Starbucks eGift card. The winning name will be announced in March.
That doesn’t give you much time to get naming. Perhaps a hot cup of Starbucks Blonde Roast will draw out some inspiration.
