One of my favorite things too do during the summer is travel. (You can see the photos on my instagram account from my recent visit to Maui, Hawaii. Soon I’ll be heading to Disney World in Florida. So on my recent visit to Shoppers Drug Mart I got together four of my absolute necessities when I go to theme parks and I wanted to share them with you.
A Travel Sized First Aid Kit is perfect because you can slip it into your purse or a travel bag / luggage and it’s so handy in case of an emergency. Personally I really love Travel sized anything because of how tiny and cute they are (but that’s just me). Don’t forget to pack wet wipes. Those always come in handy!
If you’re going to a theme park, you’re most likely going to be going on rides, so expect to have your hair blowing all over that place and getting in the way. Best bet is to tie it back. Personally I like to wear my hair in ether a high ponytail or a bun. Instead of that boring black elastic why not try adding a pop of color or a thick scrunchy. Stylize has all sorts of things that will work.
Whether the roller coasters have you feeling wobbly or if you ate too much cotton candy, like there is such a thing, feeling ill is an easy way to cut a theme park day short. Anti-Naseant Tablets might help so your day doesn’t get ruined. You can stick the box in your bag (or your mini first aid kit) just in case. Be sure to check with your mom first.
I know from personal experience that it’s not nice to have a sun burn when your going on rides (especially if its on your back). It’s always best to make sure you are protected with sunscreen but aloe vera in an After Sun Gel can help on parts that get a little too much sun
All of these were easy to find at my local Shoppers Drug Mart. Tucked in my backpack I know I’ll save myself a few hassles on my theme park visit. What is your most important thing to have with you at all times? What is your theme park essential? Hope you have a great summer.
Bye for now,
