As an American Express Cardmember (and AMEX Ambassador) I have enjoyed the many privileges my Card affords me for only a few years but their dedication to service has been part of their philosophy for years. One of my favourite benefits, Front Of The Line, is celebrating twenty-five years and they’re celebrating in a big way.
There’s no better service to make you feel like a VIP than American Express’ Front Of The Line service. From gaining access to great seats for my oldest daughter’s first concert experience to having early access to ticket sales before they are made available to the public, like the very popular Taste of Toronto food festival event, Front Of The Line is one American Express Cardmember benefit I have used many times. And American Express has been offering this service to its Cardmembers for twenty-five years! Now that’s dedication.
Of course American Express is celebrating this milestone the only way they know how, by sharing the goods with you. From August 7 until September 1, 2014, American Express Canada will be providing daily ticket giveaways through their Twitter feed using the hashtag #FOTL25 so be sure to follow them if you’re not already.
It’s hard to believe that Front Of The Line started twenty-five years ago in Toronto with a pre-sale to Phantom of the Opera and that it has continued to grow. Since 2012 there has been an increase in the number of Front Of The Line events offered (89 per cent ) and as a Cardmember that’s huge. It’s not just about concert experiences either – it’s theatre productions (Wicked, Book of Mormon), comedy shows (Russell Peters), dining experiences (Taste of Toronto sponsorship), movie premieres (Twilight , Hunger Games), cultural experiences – Luminato Festival, Christmas Market in the Distillery District.
Like many families, enjoying a night at the theatre or experiencing a festival in the city may not happen that often so I like to make it an event and American Express benefits like Front Of The Line or their Amex Invites offers make that possible. Invites allows Cardmembers great access to events and is expanding to provide global access to tickets so you can take advantage to Presales and Reserved Seating from anywhere in the world.
