It’s only February and already our year is off to an amazing start. The biggest excitement is the announcement that American Express Canada has asked EverythingMom to continue their role as an Amex Ambassador right into 2014.
American Express Canada prides itself on providing its Cardmembers with premium service, making them feel like members rather than just customers. I’ve experienced this premium service both personally as an American Express Gold Rewards Cardmember as well as professionally when EverythingMom started working with them in 2013 as Ambassadors
As the only parenting site working as an Amex Ambassador last year I had a chance to highlight the perks and benefits of being a Cardmember as it pertains to families. I enjoyed the benefits of Front Of The Line, ensuring an amazing first concert experience for my oldest daughter, making me a rock star in my daughter’s eyes. From surprising the kids with a quick weekend getaway to enjoying an evening at Les Misérables with dinner and drinks, I loved sharing the perks from the Delights program.
Our family holidays have benefited from my American Express Gold Rewards Card too, especially with Trip Flex. I love the ability to take a trip anytime, anywhere, even from a last minute sale, and Trip Flex enables me to still cover travel costs with my points. Having access to the Membership Rewards catalog is a great perk when it comes to gift giving. Using my rewards points to shop for those on my gift list made Christmas shopping much easier.
2013 was a fun year for EverythingMom as an Amex Ambassador and 2014 promises to be just as exciting. The best part about being an Ambassador is showing families how they can get more from their American Express card than just paying for everyday family expenses. I’m looking forward to a year full of family adventures, taking fun family trips, exposing the kids to unique cultural experiences, perhaps even treating myself, and I’ll be sharing it all here on EverythingMom.
Let the journey begin.
