Being a mom means that free time is very limited. When you’re not at work in a full-time paid occupation, you’re doing school runs, cooking meals, ferrying kids to social engagements, and doing all you can to make sure your children are happy and healthy. All that doesn’t give you a whole lot of time to yourself, and it’s likely to mean hobbies get the back-seat treatment, if not sacrificed altogether.

For example, you might find it difficult to get time to exercise, even though the benefits are significant. If going to the gym is a logistical nightmare for you, the good news is that it’s entirely possible to get a great workout from home without even having to set that much time aside. As the infographic below from My Fitness Boutique shows, you can fit a workout into just half an hour without needing to leave the house (and burn hundreds of calories).

While you do need to keep in mind that these are high-intensity workouts, which could be extremely challenging and are out of the question for expectant moms, they might be the perfect way of getting valuable exercise in a manageable time frame. It’s best to consult a doctor before attempting these, but if he/she gives the all-clear, why not give these a go?
