Sometimes I’m amazing by the great food that comes up on the internets. It never takes long for me to find things to feature here, and the power of Twitter is that no matter what time it is, someone, somewhere, is posting about an amazing thing they recently ate. It’s an endless supply of foodie inspiration! From a rich beef stew to a veggie filled pasta and my Meyer lemon seafood salad, I hope you find something for everyone this week.
MONDAY |
It’s always good when you make something and everyone eats is, as what happened over at What’s Cooking With Kids when she created these great puff pastry bite filled with Sweet potato, cheddar, and cannelli beans. Great for small hands to hang onto, they could be dipped or even served as an appetizer.
TUESDAY |
Sometimes a recipe comes to you right at the last minute when you are in the kitchen, as this one did. Dinner rescue by twitter, I’d like to call it, as Tara from Feels Like Home implored her stream to give her a pasta sauce recipe. Of course Twitter responded, and Rachel from Southern Fairytale came to the rescue! The result? A really great looking pasta dish.
WEDNESDAY |
This recipe from If You Can Make That You Can Make This came with promises that this recipe might be romance inducing, but I think it would just be fun to make. Wrapping your salmon up in little paper parcels ensures far fewer dishes, which would be a real way to make ME happy!
Salmon and Zucchini in Lemon Herb Butter
THURSDAY |
St. Patrick’s Day makes me think of beef stew, all rich and meaty. The Perfect Pantry has a great recipe lined up that serves a crowd, or enough to make for one meal and enough to freeze for a later date. Try baking up a batch of my Cheddar and chive biscuits to go with it to dunk in the rich sauce.

FRIDAY |
A few weeks ago I found Meyer lemons at the store. A cross between a lemon and a tangerine, they are very hard to find outside of California and to scoop a bag of them up here in British Columbia was pure luck.
