From the fussy and gourmet to breakfast for dinner, this week has it all. There’s lots of interesting tastes this week with a roasted pumpkin lasagna, pork loin, quinoa salad, and slow cooker jambalaya! These amazing food bloggers make me want to hit the kitchen and cook up a storm!
MONDAY |
Even though I don’t eat pork, this recipe is enough to make me want to lick the screen. Mrs. Whiteplates over at the Herbed Kitchen out did herself with this one!
Seared Pork Loin with Caramelized Shallot Curry
TUESDAY |
Chock full of sausage, peppers, tomatoes, and fat shrimp, this is a fix and forget recipe from (a)Musing Foodie. Your slow cooker does all the work for you! I can’t wait to try this one out on a cold winter night with a loaf of crusty bread to sop up all the juices. I’m even told that the leftovers were fought over!
WEDNESDAY |
Looking for a salad for dinner, but want something different? Try quinoa and wild rice! Bob brings us a recipe that is so easy you’ll have dinner on the table in no time. You could pair this up with some grilled sausages if you wanted to round it out a little.
THURSDAY |
I never, ever would have thought of pumpkin in a lasagna, but let me tell you a secret; Katie emailed me her pastry recipe for Thanksgiving, and it was SO GOOD that I am sure she rocks this recipe too. Plus, if you read through you’ll find a great link on how to make your own ricotta cheese! You MUST check out The Muffin Myth. Go!
FRIDAY |
I love Eggs Benny. Creamy and delicious, it’s just as good for dinner as it is for breakfast. In my family, we love to use peppered turkey instead of ham, and we don’t poach the eggs.
