My brother received a subscription box for his birthday from loot crate and to be honest I was a bit jealous. I wanted a subscription box but something that is more my style. Hmmm, maybe make-up? Delivered to my door every month?
There are a number of make-up and skincare subscription services available but not all of them deliver to Canada and many of them are very expensive ($20 – $30 a month). That’s when I found Beauty Box 5. It is affordable at $12 a month (as in I could maybe convince my mom to get it for me) and it covered more beauty products than skincare. I don’t need a lot of anti-aging products right now.
When I got home and my first box arrived I was so exited! It included an eye shadow from Be a Bombshell Cosmetics, a sparkly nail filer, a great colour of nail polish from Nubar, and some skincare products, which I probably would not use. I was so exited and the amount of skincare items was not a lot so I did not really care. I especially loved the nail polish from Nubar (part of my New Year Party Ware post) because it is a natural polish.
When I was reading about the products I was shocked to see that I was getting more for value than what I paid for that month. The eye shadow alone was $24. Over all I would definitely subscribe to beauty box. You can even gift a subscription of various months to someone too (hint, hint, mom). You get to try new samples or popular and new brands. And who doesn’t like to get mail?
