I am starting a blog about a fashion style for each month of the year. November makes me think of birthdays. A lot of people in my school have birthdays this month and usually at my friends birthday parties we just watch movies, play video games and then eat cake. So I picked out an outfit that suits this theme.
I prefer dark coloured jeans but the faded look in The Gap’s skinny jeans looks good too. Sometimes it’s cold in my house and a long sleeve shirt is great. I’m not a big fan of graphic tees but I love the print on this dark blue tee from Target, one of my favourite stores. The white poncho sweater also from The Gap is cool because it doesn’t look like a typical sweater. Plus I like that I can see my blue shirtsleeves.
My Aunt Heather is pretty cool. She wears scarves indoors and I like how it looks so I copied her. Now I love wearing scarves. The blue scarf from Ardene looks good on the white sweater and it sort of matches the colour of the tee. My hair is long so I usually wear it in a ponytail. I love adding these long hairclips as a decoration. It reminds me of those Japanese girls who wear chopsticks in their hair. I love the look of the yellow ballet flats made with the pony hair. I could watch movies (and eat popcorn) for hours in this outfit.
