As moms, we tend to spend a lot of the holiday season tending to bake and organizing the cookie exchange, building crafts with the kids and ensuring wish lists for everyone have been fulfilled. I shared a gift guide for the kids but let’s not forget us. Here are a few items on my own holiday wish list. Perhaps you’ll add some to your own.

I love my camera but I still use my Galaxy S4 to capture a lot of spontaneous photo opportunities with the kids. This compact photo printer would enable me to edit photos and print them instantly in 45 seconds. Plus the Zink Zero Ink paper means no ink cartridges. Perfect for family gatherings, birthday parties, or play dates.
Help Some-Body Soap
I’m a huge fan of Consonant Body products. The Help Some-Body Soap is a 100% natural lightly scented soap but what puts it on my wish list is the fact that 80% of the proceeds are donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Support Fund. Unlike other breast cancer research initiatives, the Breast Cancer Support Fund helps those struggling with the everyday costs associated with their illness. What a wonderful gift, something that is good for me as well as others.
Samsung Galaxy Note3
I love my Galaxy S4 phone but as my phone becomes more of a portable computer for me the Samsun Galaxy Note3 has some appeal. It would offer the features I have come to love on my S4 but in a larger size (not as big as a tablet though) plus a handy S Pen.
We-Vibe 4
Okay, I may be a mom but there’s more to life than just keeping the kids happy. Sex and intimacy don’t become a dirty word once you have kids. I love that the We-Vibe 4 is a vibrator for couples so its something to use within your moments together, not as an escape by yourself. Creating a stronger, more intimate relationship with your partner is always important.
High Five Manicure Set
I stumbled up on Froosh at the Christmas One of a Kind Show and tried their manicure scrub. So wonderful! My hands were so soft. The manicure set contains the scrub, an overnight hand repair stick plus cuticle oil. Perhaps this would encourage me to stop biting my nails.
TuckShop Trading Companies City of Neighbourhood Toques
I love that Toronto is just that, a city of unique and vibrant neighborhoods. I’m proud of the neighborhood I live in and the TuckShop’s toques let me wear my pride on my head. Now to decide: High Park or Roncy? I talked about Tuck Shop Trading Company’s nostalgic Canadian backwoods feel.
LIVESTRONG LS15.0E Elliptical Trainer
I know it seems cliché to ask for fitness equipment for Christmas. I love using my recumbent bike but I’m looking for something that will mimic running a little better (without getting a treadmill). With Elliptical Trainer from Canadian Tire in the house, I might also convince my husband to take up running too.
Caviar Nutruriche Day/Night Eye Cream
In my mind I think I’m still in my early thirties, but the reality is a bitter pill to swallow. Although I don’t wear make-up, my eyes still give my age away. I sometimes think the glasses I wear just magnify this. I had a chance to try Elizabeth Grant products and I was surprisingly impressed. How can you not feel pampered using an eye cream containing rejuvenating caviar extract? It’s so light around the eyes too, not like a heavy cream.
The great thing about this gift wish list is that it can apply for birthdays too, should none of these items appear under the tree for me this year. What are you hoping for this year?
