Okay, so I had the Mirena in for 6 months. The first week it was inserted I bled heavily and had bad cramps, but that was manageable. What wasn’t was the anxiety that started about a month after insertion. I called my doctors and they insisted it wasn’t a side effect. I believed them, and continued with it. About two months in I started experiencing panic attacks. They were terrible, hard to breathe, shooting pains in my chest. I called the doctors back and they told me to see a psychiatrist for the anxiety. That it was not Mirena related. Another month went by and the panic attacks ramped up. Also dizziness started. Two days I was so dizzy I couldn’t get out of bed. The doctors again told me these were not side effects. I finally told them I wanted it out. I needed it out. Upon removal my anxiety started decreasing. Within the hour I stopped having panic attacks. The dizziness lasted another two weeks, gradually getting better. Once the dizziness stopped I got a yeast infection. A bad one that lasted about a week. The itching was terrible. I would not recommend getting an IUD if your body is sensitive to things. It is definitely not worth the pain, panic, or side effects I got with it. I feel very frustrated that the doctors would not listen to me when I told them I was having side effects to the IUD. They insisted I keep it in and seek medical help from other doctors. I am glad I went with my gut and had it removed.

Thank you for reminding me that I can teach my kids to be kind just by incorporating it in my ways by simply smiling at other people, saying hello, please, and thank you, and other small gestures that say kindness all throughout. My husband and I have finally decided that it’s time to start my child’s formal schooling next year, and although I know we’ll eventually arrive at this point, I’m still worried about how my daughter will act around other kids once she’s left at school. I’ll try doing these tips you have mentioned before deciding through these charter enrollment packages I am seeing online.

Had my Mirena removed after about 3 years. Immediately after I began to bleed HEAVY and passed numerous large clots, that lastest about 4 weeks. I experienced a sore throat, headaches, and slight cough for about a week. After that finally ended I started to have really bad acid reflux which ending in me going to the ER where I was diagnosed with GERD. So far it’s been over a month and I’ve still not gotten my period.

My 2 year old gets a real sense of achievement from helping me with little chores around the house. She helps pack the shopping into the cupboards, loves going around with the duster and sweeping the floors! I think helping out really helps build their self confidence.
