Synopsis from Raincoast Books:

Kids and parents alike will rejoice in this lively read-aloud picture book, as the main character runs into (and away from) a tiger over and over again as the plot gets sillier and sillier. Perfect for acting out while reading, It’s a Tiger! offers just the right amount of excitement without being too scary, and a sweet ending with a bit of a twist.

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed It’s A Tiger. The book starts with the main character wanting to tell us a story but something unexpected appears within the story, hiding among the background images. It’s a tiger! We follow our storyteller from page to page trying to escape the tiger. Each time we think we’re safe we discover…it’s a tiger!

The illustrations and the how the story breaks will have you and the kids anticipating the tiger. Don’t be surprised if you catch yourself yelling out It’s A Tiger along with the kids. The colourful block images support the energy in the book making it a fun read for everyone.
