Synopsis from Publishers Group Canada:

My Dad at the Zoo is another tale of role reversal in which Dad reverts to the unsocialized, wild ways of childhood. Probably tired from all of his wearying antics around bedtime, here Dad heads off to the zoo with his son and goes completely zany.

Kids probably hear how they have trouble sitting still or get excited about ice cream. What if parents took on the child’s roll? The antics in My Dad at the Zoo are humorous and illustrate some behaviours I’ve seen in my own kids. Behaviours that can seem frustrating as an adult are viewed a little more light hearted when dad takes on these actions.

Dads are often depicted as the fun parent too, at least in out home, making the silliness that much more relatable. My Dad at the Zoo is a great read for Father’s day though be warned your kids may want dad to start acting like a monkey.
