I am always impressed with the creativity of others found on Pinterest or blogs. I love the idea of getting crafty but sometimes I’m at a loss for ideas. Holiday gift-wrapping is a perfect opportunity to get creative without investing in a huge project. The amazing collection of tapes from Scotch Expressions tapes makes wrapping even easier and our Scotch Expressions Holiday giveaway is a perfect starting point.
Gift wrapping isn’t just about concealing that perfect holiday gift, it can also be fun, stylish and on-trend. To add to the excitement of the holiday season, Scotch Brand has packaged up the latest trends into gift wrap inspirations:
It’s a Champagne Christmas: It’s all about white and gold this season; look for wrapping papers in this colour palette to add a pop of sophisticated glam to your gifts
Neon-neutral mash-up: Pair ultra-bright Washi tapes and gift wrapping papers with burlap to complete this popular look
Geometric Flare: It’s all about the patterns for this trend; wrap your gift using decorative tapes on packaging paper to accessorize your gift exchange and make a bold.
You can discover more holiday wrapping tricks and inspiration at the Scotch Expression Tape wrapping workshops led by Shoana Jensen at this year’s One of a Kind Show (November 27 to December 7) or visit the Scotch Tape Blog.

Usually early Dec. I hate leaving it till the last minute.
I like to wrap the bigger gifts asap so that it does not look bare under the tree. I like coordinating the bows and paper.
As soon as I puchase it gets wrapped to avoid giving it to my son early
I usually do it all in one shot a week before Christmas.
I bought all my gifts in October! And wrapped them yesterday! My mat leave ends in a few weeks and I needed to make the most of my time. 😉
A couple weeks before Christmas
It starts off the same every year, I say I am going to wrap as I buy. BUT… always ends up the week before Christmas, and some the night before!
A week before Christmas 🙂
My husband and I normally do it together, about a week or so before Christmas, usually on a Saturday night while sipping on eggnog and watching a Christmas movie. I look forward to that night all year long.
I do mine late at night, when the hyenas are sleeping.
I usually do my wrapping the week before Christmas.
I usually wrap as I buy things (so I’ve already started!). If I leave things in the house unwrapped there’s usually some peeking.
