Synopsis from Harper Collins Canada:
Cars and trucks and bikes and trains! Rvs and construction vehicles too! Everything goes. Ride along with Henry and his dad as they visit the big city and check out all the amazing vehicles around them. Full of mini-story lines, endless seek-and-find activities, and hundreds of funny details, Everything Goes: On Land is an interactive book that provides hours of fun!
Vehicle books are always popular with my 5 and 7 year old so it’s no surprise Everything Goes: On Land was a big hit in our house. The book reminds me of my husband’s Richard Scary collection that the kids still enjoy. I love that Everything Goes: On Land combines a story (following Henry’s journey with his dad through the city to pick-up his mom) with learning and discovering. Each spread is filled with colourful scenes, illustrating various modes of transportation.
There are also a few spreads showing more details on one particular vehicle, like an RV or a delivery truck. Kids will love discovering different vehicles and the mini stories within the bigger story. For added fun, the numbers from 1 to 100 are hidden in numeric order through out the pages as you go through the book. With all there is to see and discover in Everything Goes: On Land, kids will be busy for a while.
Everything Goes is a new program that plans to include easy to read, board books and picture bookss as well as digital material designed to take readers across the ground, in the air and on the water. I’m excited to see what else is released in this series.
You can add Everything Goes: On Land to your personal library by visiting your local book store or visiting Harper Collins Canada. Visit our Kid’s Books section for other great book recommendations. What are you reading with your kids?
