The Plaza Boutique’s Tricycle Garage offers kids of all ages the chance to experience New York City in a fun, whimsical way. Kids who are usually too tired to walk will discover a burst of energy when shooting through the park on a red Radio Flyer scooter or a pretty in pink tricycle. There are even bicycles for adults too so the whole family can enjoy a ride in the park. Rental fees range from $20.00 for two hours and up to $40 for a whole day and include the use of a bike helmet. Bike racks and numbered license plates are free to guests at The Plaza but others can use them for a fee of $0.15 a day (that’s $3.00 a month).
Bikes are available on a first come, first served basis and can be reserved at the Tricycle Garage but guests at the Plaza Hotel are given priority. The Plaza Hotel offers families a whole new way to experience Central Park.

Initiated in 1954 following the success of Kay Thompson’s book Eloise, the Plaza Hotel has re-launches the Tricycle Garage. This summer, hotel guests are able to rent Radio Flyer tricycles, bicycles and scooters to explore Central Park and some of the city’s most popular sights.
