Travel seems to be designed for families of four, an issue I encounter often with five in our family. We usually end up having to book two adjoining rooms but if you’re visiting the Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort and Spa all-inclusive family resort you might want to checkout their new family suites.

These suites, located in the new Italian Village, are designed with two separate sleeping spaces, one for mom and dad and one for the kids. Beaches_Turks_and_Caicos_Family_Suites_Kids_roomThis means after a busy day at the resort I was able to watch my crime dramas while my daughter watched Nick Jr. And when it was my daughter’s bedtime, I could turn on the nightlight in the kids’ space (cleverly disguised as a ship on the shelf) and close the pocket door enabling my daughter to sleep without being disturbed by my late night TV.

The suite has enough sleeping space for up to eight people, 3 in the kids’ space and 5 in the parents’ space). Most of the extra sleeping is hidden in the form of trundle beds, day beds and a pull out sleeper chair.

All the new family suites include Beaches’ exclusive Suite Concierge Service which includes the same features found in a standard room plus: stocked in-room bar, robes (2 adult size), CD clock radio (I could plug in my MP3 player in mine if I had brought it), personal Xbox gaming system and your own concierge for the extent of your trip to handle any questions.

The family suites are located close to the beach and the pool within the Italian Village. Some of the rooms have garden or pool views while for a small additional fee you could get a room facing the ocean, and what a view it is.

The attendants visit your room twice a day to ensure you have fresh towels and supplies and to prepare your room in the evening with a turn down service.

Take a peek at the family suite my 3-year old and I stayed in during our visit to Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort and Spa all-inclusive family resort.

The Family Suites in the Italian Village at Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort are ideal for families of five or more.

Thanks to the folks at Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort and Spa and Coastal International for making the trip possible.

  1. We absolutely love Mexico and Caribbean and Turks and Caicos looks so dreamy. Typically we aren’t all inclusive people though.. Have you need to any other resorts there? How is the food and drink at Beaches. I know they have great reputations!
