This week we were blessed as a society to have Lindsay Lohan back in the headlines. Honestly, how, as a people, did we get so lucky? There is baby news this week and Steven Tyler shakes up American Idol. You have to love Hollywood for mixing it up.
1) Letʼs first get into this LiLo mess. Once again, what the hell was she thinking? Word on the street, is that Lindsay walked out of a jewelry store wearing a $2500 necklace that she did not pay for. The store apparently tried to contact her people with no luck and then called the police. Ok, the obvious question here, why the hell does Lindsay Lohan still have “People”? So now it comes down to proving that she had intent to steal it; she says the store loaned it to her. She had her stylist return it to the police station before they came after her. What a mess LiLo has got herself into, again.
2) One of my favourite ladies in Hollywood, Christina Applegate had a baby girl last week. She and her fiance, musician Martyn LeNoble, welcomed daughter Sadie Grace LeNoble on Thursday, Jan. 27 in L.A. I have always enjoyed her as an actress but this seems like a triumph of sorts after the hell she went through over the last few years. A month after being diagnosed with breast cancer, Applegate had a double mastectomy and is now cancer-free. She opted for the radical procedure, instead of removing the lumps and having chemo. When asked why by Robin Roberts, Applegate said, "I didn't want to go back to the doctors every four months for testing and squishing and everything. I just wanted to kind of get rid of this whole thing for me. This was the choice that I made and it was a tough one." I have to say I admire her for this, her courage and her 'I want to get on with my life' attitude.
3) Now to my favourite topic of the week, American Idol and my man Steven Tyler! Yes he is a dirty rocker, but there is just something about him. I honestly have to say I am loving the show this year, more so than other seasons. I will even go as far as to say as I like him better than Simon. *GASP* The producers of Idol issued an apology for Tyler's behavior at the beginning of this weeks show. The wires are abuzz with the rumblings that it was all tongue-in-cheek and a joke. Personally I really donʼt think they are that clever. His rude rumblings aside, I like him. Miss Lopez is also winning me over, being not nearly as annoying as I thought she would be. Jenny from the block is almost coming across as charming. I do have to say she is gorgeous; she always looks fabulous.

Chocolate Truffle Colada
Ingredients
1 ounce Vanilla Vodka
1 ounce Raspberry Liqueur
2 ounces milk
1 ounce 18% cream
1 ounce melted Dark Chocolate
Ice
Preparation
Shake chocolate, vodka, liqueur and milk well in a shaker filled with ice. Add all ingredients including cream to a blender and blend until smooth. Add more ice to get drink to thick consistency.
Pour into glass and garnish with fresh raspberries and a dark chocolate cookie wafer.
