That’s it! I QUIT! I have been making or designing cocktails in some capacity for over 20 years. WOW, I’m getting old, and as with fine wine, more FABULOUS of course, as all women do. Oops, off topic. Ok back on track...I QUIT! Why? You may just quit it all too when I tell you.
It was Saturday and I was working on a article, doing some research, minding my own business when I saw it, a headline like no other I have seen. One that rocked me to the very core and I am really not sure I will ever fully recover. I am even having a hard time writing this post; my hands are shaking and I am all verklempt. Ok, so here it is. A bar in Hollywood is serving up ”The Biebertini” , it’s not a cocktail as such but a mocktail since the boy himself is not old enough to drink, or vote or shave. The bar does however offer an actual cocktail version for any Bieber fans over 21. My heart aches for anyone behind a bar that has to hear, “Can I get 2 Biebertini’s please”.
On a happier note, Charlie Sheen’s porn star pal is pregnant, however it may not be his. Word on the trashy street is that she texted Sheen to tell him she was preggers, but that she didn’t think it was his. Insert Jerry Springer episode here. She also mentioned in the alleged text that she was going to Oregon to “take care of the situation”. Now this I am sure will be a great boost for the tourism in Oregon. Who sends a text message like that? Furthermore who SHARES a text message like that? Is this how hungry people are for 15 minutes of fame? When and if this young girl ever decides to become a mother, imagine the look on her child’s face when they are old enough to Google her?
The Biebertini
• ½ cup coconut cream
• ½ cup pineapple cream
• ¼ cup light cream
• 1 banana
• 20 strawberries
Blend ingredients with ice. Pour into four martini glasses. Top with whipped cream, Pop Rocks and a Blow Pop garnish.
Are you a Bieber fan who's over 21? Make the drink alcoholic by adding 1.5 oz. of Three Olives Bubble vodka to each glass.
