HAPPY NEW YEAR! Hope you all had a fabulous holiday season. A brand new year should always start off with a bang, at least that is how I feel. 365 brand new days of fabulous possibilities. 
Unfortunately Hollywood did not share my views this past week.
As I was researching this week's dish I had a hard time keeping my eyes open. I am almost positive it was from the lack of “BANG” and not all the holiday festivities. So my dish this week is compiled of things that I truly donʼt give a crap about, and I am pretty sure I am not the only one. You be the judge...
- Shania Twain and Valerie Bertinelli both got married on New Years Day. Yay for them, but not really ticker tape making news. Now if they had of married each other we all would have had something to talk about around the old water cooler.
- Apparently an almost reliable source is commenting on the fact that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are dating. Wait, no they're not; they are just friends and she is pregnant. No, hang on, that was a rumor as well. So if we go back and figure it all out, nothing bloody well happened.
- David Arquette entered rehab for, and I quote, “drinking and depression, not hard drugs. Rehab was inevitable," said the source. This quote is from People.com. NOT HARD DRUGS and why did we feel the need to specify? I do believe this is where I fell asleep doing my research.
- Lindsay Lohan announced that she was ready to start the rest of her life. Now we can all sleep better at night.
- Snooki from Jersey Shore fame has a sure fire hangover cure, it is to drink more. There are no words to describe the excitement I felt when reading this post. Damn it, I just broke my resolution to be more honest.
If you reading this part then you're still awake; if not, I totally understand. There are just some things you canʼt make exciting, no matter how many false rumors you splash on them.
Start it Right...Spritzer
1 oz Vodka
1/2 oz Raspberry Liqueur
1 oz Pomegranate Liqueur
1 1/4 oz pomegranate juice
4 oz YELLOWGLEN Pink
Combine first three ingredients with ice and shake. Strain into 8 oz martini glass. Top with Pink. Garnish with orange twist.
