Our First Dance

Hello, my name is Dee and I am new here...so please be nice cause I’m fragile and I cry easily....I do...just ask my mom.

My goal is to bring you a fun, fearless, tongue in cheek take on all things Entertainment... Movies, music, television, fashion and of course hot celebrity gossip. The crazier the celebrity “malfunction”, the more fun we will have with it.

dancing_starts From Tiger to Heidi, Lindsay to Sandra, no one is safe from the wrath of my key board. Ok, ok, a little mellow dramatic, but you get my point. So be sure to stay tuned and let me know what you think and what you want to talk about. Don’t be shy, I have broad shoulders...literally, they don’t have lipo for that.

So since this is my first post I thought I would chat about a first for me. At my age they are few and far between so I drag them out as long as possible.

I just started watching Dancing With The Stars this season, or DWTS as it is affectionally known, and I am not going to lie, it is only because of Kate Gosselin being on this season. I was a fan of Jon & Kate Plus 8 for a long time, before it got all hollywood tabloid, and like so many others (over 19 million according to Nielsen ratings) I had to tune in and see if she had some moves. Turns out she does have the moves...of a petrified robot!

However, apparently all the real drama is happening off the dance floor. Seems like Kate’s less than charming behavior we witnessed on her reality show has waltzed its way onto the DWTS set. She was said to be snubbing other cast members and crew. Sources were even reporting that Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir pulled out of this season DWTS because he did not want to work with Gosselin. All this even before a single cha cha got underway. Now that we have seen her dancing dexterity you gotta wonder what all the inflated ego is about. Sounds like Kate has a serious case of “Reality Princess Syndrome” or RPS...I wonder if Dr. Drew has a rehab for that?

As for the other contestants, they are holding their own on this strange stage. Pamela’s breasts seem to have rhythm, thank goodness I don’t have 3D TV. Niecy’s attitude and smile are infectious...and Aiden...well he’s pretty. I know there are others but to be honest, I just can’t remember their names, I have a hard enough time remember all my own kids names. I also don’t watch the results show, I just can’t commit that much time to one show, so much “Reality” so little time. I just flip back to it 5 min or so before it’s done to see who gets the hook. Just can’t handle all the bottom 2 or 3 drama & the guest dancers...blah blah blah...Makes my brain hurt, and that’s all I have to say about that.
