So I was inspired to right this post by the Queen of England herself, how regal. Nothing like being inspired by the ultimate Diva herself. On Monday September 20th CBC aired a 3D look back at the Queen. Did you watch? Did you google how much it cost us ﬁne Canadian tax payers? 3d-is-it-worth-it The 3D glasses for this event were available at over 3100 Canada Post outlets all over the country. I Googled my ass off and could not ﬁnd a cost, so if you ﬁnd one please let me know.

All ridiculousness and costs aside, are you on board with this 3D trend? Do you go see 3D movies? I did some more Googleʼing and found out that the 3D televisions are really expensive and the up keep is a budget buster as well. For a family of 4 to just get the “micro-shutter glasses” it can run you anywhere from $400 - $800. Then you have to worry about them being lost or damaged. I have 4 kids, lost or damaged is a way of life in my house. “Hey honey...whereʼs the dog?”..”Oh I donʼt know, maybe lost or damaged.” To be honest I am really tired of trying to keep up. So I drew the line with Blue-Ray, and have no intention on going 3D. could you imagine the size of my ass in 3D?

Now to the movie portion of the new 3D trend. I really have an issue wearing the glasses, they give me a headache. But now I am more worried about the wallet ache with the cost of actually going to see a 3D movie. I spoke to my brother who took his family of four to see a 3D movie at a local theatre. The wallet tally just to get in the door, $60.00. Then you have to buy the goodies. Is it worth it?

Do you need to see inside the nostrils of a movie character to make it worth while? The whole jumping out at you and swatting away of birds or ﬂies is still so late 80ʼs for me. I donʼt understand the appeal and I deﬁnitely donʼt want it in my living room. could imagine watching The jersey Shore in 3D. Holy tits and gel Batman! I am just getting used to HD, Botox is so not enough any more.
