Thursday, April 22nd, is Earth Day. While I think we all strive to teach our kids to be good stewards of the planet every day, this day brings an extra opportunity to do so Teaching our children how to reduce, reuse, and recycle not only teaches them to be earth friendly, but more responsible in all areas of their lives. Reducing our consumption leads to lower bills. Reusing items saves money from having to buy new items. You are teaching them important life lessons with these simple concepts. Your efforts are making a big impact on your children and your environment.
So how would like to make this even better? What about taking these lessons and using them in a creative and artistic way? Here are some fun crafts that use everyday items to make fun activities and toys for your children. So grab that “trash” and let’s make some fun!
