With so much press lately about food sourcing, the call for organics and concerns of health issues in our kids like diabetes and obesity, the media, more than ever, is inundating us with the message that what we eat and how it’s prepared is important. One television show, Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution, and its companion cookbook are getting the North American population excited to integrate healthy, affordable and maybe best of all, quick meals into their repertoires. Oliver asks you to sign his petition, to improve food quality in US schools and save cooking skills, and apparently, you are, since to date, nearly 405,000 have signed it.
To get cracking on your own food revolution, you don’t need much besides enthusiasm, a sense of adventure and simple supplies.
