Mom Esteem: Building Self-Esteem in Mothers

A few weeks ago, Dove invited me to take part in a new initiative they were launching called the Dove Movement for Self Esteem.

It inspired me and scared me.  Because I ride the Self-Esteem Roller Coaster, I worry about my daughter (and my son) joining me for that ride.

So I am going to do everything I can to ensure I find and use the tools to create a solid sense of self-esteem.  I have made two powerful choices to start me off on that path...

#1 - I have joined the Dove Movement for Self-Esteem to provide me with some tools & programs to create positive self-esteem in myself and the girls and women in my life.

#2 - I have created Mom Esteem here at EverythingMom.com

What is Mom Esteem?

I have hired a Life Coach to take me on a 12 week Self-Esteem Journey.  My coach, Jennifer Pernfuss will coach me for 12 weeks to play, explore, learn, share and really stir things up.

And I’m going to share it all with you.

Talk about vulnerability!  This scares me.  A lot.  But I am out to debunk the myths of having it all together by creating a space of absolute transparency and authenticity.  I am letting down my guard and inviting you to share the journey with me.

Each week, I will write about my learning and pass on the tools I have discovered in hopes that they can elevate your self-esteem and inner joy.  I will offer you thought provokers that you can apply to your own life.
