Synopsis from Raincoast Books:

In this wacky follow-up to Nana Cracks the Case!, Nana decides she wants to go to the rodeo to become a bull rider. But a run-in with bad guys Tuff and the Ruffies spins her day in a new direction. Before you can say 'yee-haw,' Nana's grandchildren, Eufala and Bog, join in on the wild adventure.

Kids will always have a special bond with their grandma, nana, whatever she's referred to in your home. Nana Takes the Reins! follows the adventure Eufala and Bog have with their nana. And let me tell you nana is crazy, but a fun crazy. Nana just goes with the flow, nothing seems to sweat her and although you think her behaviour is due to being a little wacky, she demonstrates she has the ability to know what the real issue is in a situation. Just the way kids view their own nana's (at least that's how my kids do)

Nana Takes the Reins! is a little far fetched but an awful lot of fun. The black and whilte illustrations splattered throughout the book keep those early chapter book readers entertained.

You can add Nana Takes the Reins! to your personal library by visiting your local book store or visiting Raincoast Books. Visit our Kid's Books section for other great book recommendations. What are you reading with your kids?

I have to thank Crystal at Raincoast Books for my review copy.
