Synopsis from Random House Kids:

Candles on the menorah, ready to light! At Hanukkah, there are many much-anticipated rituals — latkes to eat, dreidels to spin, presents to give and receive, and shiny gold treats. Add some free-form fun, from shadow puppetry to singing and dancing, and you have a warm, truly child-friendly celebration.

Kids will enjoy counting the 8 days of Hanukkah in Hanukkah Lights. Each page lights another candle on the menorah while the kids celebrate with a different activity -- eating latkes, spinning a dreidel – all the way up to the last day when all the candles are lit and it’s time to celebrate.

The board book is small, making it easy for chubby fingers to hold, and the illustrations are colourful, with the menorah playing a prominent part on all the pages.

You can add Hanukkah Lights to your personal library by visiting your local book store or visiting Random House Kids. Visit our Kid's Books section for other great book recommendations. What are you reading with your kids?

I have to thank Jessica and Cassandra at Random House Kids for my review copy.
