Steamy Kitchen’s teriyaki steak has so few ingredients that it’s a perfect answer to a busy back to school week. You could even teach your teenager to make it! Steam up some rice, a few green beans, and you’ll have dinner ready in a flash. Break out the chopsticks!

Have you ever had pesto made with arugula? This intrigues me! Since it’s hard to find loads of basil at a reasonable price in the winter, this recipe from The Culinary Chronicles would be a super secret weapon to have in your repertoire. Not to mention it looks so yummy I wanted to lick the screen.

Years ago when I was a kid, my parents took us to the Oregon coast and I remember having huge bowls of clam chowder by the ocean. These days, I still love clam chowder but soups full of cream are hard to freeze, full of calories and my son’s lactose intolerance prevents him from eating them. Finally, I found the perfect chowder recipe at The Perfect Pantry and not only does it look great, I’m pairing it with some killer Cheddar biscuits.
