If you are looking for something simple and delicious to serve for Halloween, look no further-carrot soup will warm up your little goblins! This week's meal plan is full of delicious ideas from some very talented food bloggers. Make sure to drop by their sites and look around at all the great recipes they have to offer!

MONDAY

One look at this photo over at Vino Luci ; and I just knew this recipe had to be featured in a meal plan. How can anyone not want to just lick the computer screen? I have grill envy just looking at it. Who says that you can't have barbeque in October? Here on the West Coast, many people grill year-round.

Simple, southern comfort food at it's best-something I have never had, but so deliciously described that I want to try this recipe myself. Jerry blogs over at Cooking By the Seat of My Pants , where delicious food and great photos make me want to try ....everything!

If you are looking for easy and delicious, Sydney over at The Crepes of Wrath has the answer for you-a creamy, cheesy Fettuccine Alfredo. You can throw in some leftover roasted chicken to bump it up, if you wish. Click around and be sure to check out Sydney's selection of treats, because she's my go-to blog when I'm craving something delicious, like white chocolate pumpkin spice truffles .

FRIDAY

A bright orange perfect for Halloween, this slightly sweet and very delicious soup is absolutely kid friendly. We topped ours with fresh cilantro, but a sprinkle of herbed croutons or salty bacon would also be delicious.

Karen (aka Scattered Mom) has been passionate about food since the 1970s, when she created tasty treats from her Easy Bake oven. Literally thrown into the kitchen at the tender age of 21 when she became foster Mom to 4 teenagers, it was pretty much a do or die situation. Her specialty? Cookies. Her real passion? Writing. Put them together with a marriage to a guy 20 years older, their own teenager, and life on the West Coast of Canada, and you have her blog, Notes from the Cookie Jar.
