From code words and hidden messages, secret codes can be a whole lot of fun to create and receive. We had so much fun trying our hand at being spies when visiting Colonial Williamsburg that we decided to play with some coded messages at home.
This month on Melissa and Doug’s blog I share six different coding techniques we’ve been trying at home. Some are easy enough for the little kids, some a little trickier for the big kids, but all are six are fun. Plus they’re a great way get kids reading and writing. You can see the whole post over on Melissa and Doug’s blog. Have you tried using secret codes at home before?
